FIRE LINE TO STOP THE WILDFIRE
Wildfire is a serious environmental phenomenon that comes with each drought season, damaging the environment, animal habitat, and human within nearby communities. It also causes widespread air pollution of PM 2.5. Although it is not completely preventable, creating a strong community can help preventing and coping with the wildfire phenomena, greatly reducing the severity of the wildfire.
A team of volunteer; together with the Department of National Parks, Wildlife, and Plant Conservation Officer; and communities within Khao Laem area, Khao Phra, Mueang district, Nakhon Nayok helped the cause by creating fire line, reducing the naturally existing fuel, and providing patrol route for the volunteer fire scout.
